Guy James Murray-Bruce was born in Lagos, Nigeria on November 15, 1963. In 1985, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, USA. He is currently the Vice President, Silverbird Group.
Guy’s career with Silverbird began in January 1992, as part of the television syndication unit. His portfolio expanded in 1997, when he ventured into radio broadcasting and emerged as the Head of the Radio unit and its channel operation Rhythm 93.7fm, Lagos.
His experience in Radio management exposed him to challenges of competitive growth in an emerging market place and he knows, more than most, that competition is a healthy part of business.
He broke into television in 2003 and ascended the helm of STV. Following his time with STV, he launched Silverbird Dream Network in 2011, following a successful bidding process carried out by the National Broadcasting commission.
